Why LGBT+ Pride still matters
JLL supports LGBT+ Pride 2018 celebrations
During London Pride, JLL joined in the celebrations and made a clear commitment to LGBT+ inclusion by adorning our Warwick Street office in the rainbow colours of the Pride flag. In London, we marched for the third year running with Freehold, the leading network forum for LGBT professionals working within the real estate sector and for the second successive year took part in Norwich Pride.
Claire England, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at JLL, said: “We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can be themselves. Our rainbow window display is a bold and colourful way to show our support to visitors to our London HQ but also the wider Soho community.”
Senior, visible LGBT+ role models Ollie Saunders, Lead Director, Alternatives and Virginia Rothwell, UK HR Director also discussed their own experiences of being LGBT and how allies in the workplace can help create a secure, respectful and accepting environment enabling and empowering LGBT+ colleagues to reach their full potential.
