Student Housing Quarterly Bulletin – 2018 Q4 Review
The Student Housing market continues to demonstrate its resilience to wider economic volatility, with investor demand remaining strong and total investment volumes for the year exceeding £3.2bn. Whilst this is marginally below the five year average, approximately £750m of assets are currently under offer and are likely to complete in early 2019. Investors have focused their attention on income-producing assets in prime locations and well located ‘first generation’ schemes underpinned by domestic occupational demand.
