Warehouses are here to stay, but in Europe what they look like in the future and where they are located will change. JLL looks at what’s effecting these changes and gives an insight into what the main drivers will be for occupiers, investors and developers of warehouses as well as a view on how warehouses will be characterised in the future.

  1. The report assesses four megatrends that will impact warehouse buildings and their locations: demographic change, technological change, urbanisation and sustainability.
  2. We look at the nature of the changes and how they will affect occupier, investor and developer decision-making and, in turn, building specification and location.
