Two new occupiers welcomed at Heathrow warehouse scheme
Airport Gate now fully let
Acting on behalf AIPUT, property consultants JLL has attracted two new tenants to Airport Gate, Bath Road near Heathrow Airport.
Automania Garage Services (AGS), a provider of round-the-clock vehicle maintenance and repair support for the aviation and commercial fleet sectors has agreed a pre-let of units 2-4 on a 20-year lease. Comprising a 60,379 sq ft the space has undergone a back to frame refurbishment.
Following AGS’ appointment earlier this year to become an authorised repairer for Mercedes-Benz Trucks, the units will provide a head office industrial facility with workshop and 39 vehicle bays.
Units 5-7 Airport Gate have been leased to PRS Distribution who has agreed a five-year lease on 39,159 sq ft. The deal on the newly refurbished space was concluded in just three weeks and will be the base for its Special Operations Division as it gears up to offer additional bespoke services to its customers.
Melinda Cross, Head of London & South East Industrial & Logistics at JLL, said: “It is crucial for both occupiers to have the right level of space to respond to future demand. The speed at which the deal with PRS concluded shows how attractive the Airport Gate has been means that the estate is now fully let.”
Situated at the northern side of Heathrow Airport, Airport Gate has direct access to the A4 Bath Road, which runs parallel with the Heathrow’s norther perimeter road.
