MediaCityUK’s Urban Challenge is back

Following the success of last year’s event more than 1000 participants from the creative, property and corporate community are being invited to take part in MediaCityUK’s Urban Challenge 2019 team building event on Friday, 5 July, at Salford Quays near Manchester. The event will transform dock 9 and its surrounding quayside into an exciting adventure obstacle course.

The unique course delivered by Rough Runner, will feature 12, one-of-a-kind challenges across a 2.5k or 5k course including Rise and Fall, Entrapment, The Big Tipper and the Travelator which can be tackled either individually or as part of a relay team of three.

Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCityUK said: “This is an event which brings organisations together from the most vibrant and dynamic sectors within the region and it creates a real buzz within MediaCityUK. It’s a great, fun way to work as a team with colleagues or compete against other businesses.”

MediaCityUK is working closely with JLL who is sponsoring this year’s event.

Those taking part in the event will seek to raise funds for charitable causes including The Tim Bacon Foundation together with teams’ individual charities.
