JLL secures 51,500 sq ft letting at Trafford Park

The industrial team at property advisor JLL has let Tenax Cross 2, a 51,500 sq ft unit at Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, on behalf of Rosedale Property Holdings Ltd. 

Oak Tyres Holdings, a tyre wholesaler, has agreed a five-year lease at 5.75 per sq ft for the industrial distribution unit on Tenax Road. The site features 46,500 sq ft of warehouse space and 5,000 sq ft office accommodation spread across two floors. 

JLL was appointed to market the vacant unit in September 2017 which required a full programme of refurbishment that completed earlier this year. 

Oak Tyre Holdings, which leases the adjoining unit has sites across the North of England and North Wales, joins other nearby occupiers including PG Tips, safety equipment supplier Arco and global transport and logistics company Khne + Nagel. 

Richard Johnson, Director at JLL, said: There is a shortage of mid-sized industrial warehouse units at Trafford Park and the surrounding area. A tenant was found whilst the refurbishment was still ongoing  it's prime location and refurbishment made it a very attractive location.
