JLL to march in four UK cities in support of Pride’s Jubilee year
JLL will march in four cities around the UK this summer to support Pride’s Jubilee year, which marks the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall uprising in 1969 in New York.
JLL is inviting its staff to march with friends, colleagues and industry peers to support of the LGBT+ community and its allies and its ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive property industry.
For the fourth year running, JLL will march with Freehold the leading LGBT+ professionals’ network in London Pride (6 July) and Manchester Pride (24 August). JLL will take part in Norwich Pride for a third consecutive year and will march in Bristol Pride (13 July) with Proud to Build a Bristol based LGBT+ built environment professionals’ network.

JLL is also celebrating Pride 2019 by taking inspiration from the rainbow flag, A special font, Gilbert Sans, which was inspired by artist and LGBT+ activist Gilbert Baker, who created the Rainbow Flag is being used across a range of its pride activities across the globe. New JLL branded merchandise using Gilbert Sans font has also been produced incorporating messages that reflect the firm’s commitment to creating an inclusive workplace.
JLL launched its UK Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender network Building Pride in 2014. It aims to promote diversity by creating a secure, respectful and accepted environment enabling and empowering LGBT+ professionals to reach their full potential.
