JLL secures Andrew Baker as head of sustainability consulting
ESG expert to extend JLL’s sustainability credentials for clients
JLL has announced that Andrew Baker will join as head of sustainability consulting.
Andrew joins JLL from Cushman & Wakefield where he spent three years leading the energy, infrastructure and sustainability team and advising the UK board on Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) issues. At JLL, he will lead the sustainability consulting business working with clients to support them across the broad spectrum of sustainability services from net zero carbon and climate risk, to wellbeing and social value.
Richard Howling, head of consulting at JLL said: “In a year when sustainability has firmly established itself as a business-critical boardroom issue, I am delighted that Andrew is joining to lead the team. We have a long-standing pre-eminent position for sustainability consultancy and today’s announcement shows our continued commitment to advancing this leading position and to further expanding the breadth, depth and scale of our sustainability services in future. In the lead up to COP26, real estate has a unique opportunity to be part of the solution and at JLL we are more determined than ever to support our clients to make lasting change.”
Andrew’s appointment follows that of David Bownass in January, JLL’s head of UK net zero design consulting, previously at WSP.
