JLL has managed and overseen the extended planning consent process for leading retirement living developer PegasusLife, on the Wildernesse Estate in Sevenoaks, Kent.
JLL has managed and overseen the extended planning consent process for leading retirement living developer PegasusLife, on the Wildernesse Estate in Sevenoaks, Kent. The new planning consent for the additional new build element of ‘Wildernesse House’, will increase the planned density of the last phase of the development from 39 residential units to 53 residential units. The units will be arranged across five buildings ranging from 2- to 3-storeys.
JLL’s Project and Development Services (PDS) project managed the planning process for the final phase of the development, working with a strategic design team to develop proposals within an existing mass and form, ensuring that proposals were in keeping with the building’s history and its greenbelt setting.
Designed by Morris+Company, the ‘Wildernesse House’ project centres around the refurbished Grade II listed Georgian building – formerly known as Dorton House School – divided into 23 one- and two-bedroom apartments, and includes an onsite restaurant, gym, stretch studio, lap pool and treatment room. Alongside are eight two-bedroom mews houses in the newly built stable block.
