JLL confirms north west office move

JLL today confirmed that its north west team is to be relocated – as it was announced that the consultancy’s new home will be at Landmark, St. Peter’s Square, Manchester.

Steve Hogg, who has officially taken up post as the new head of the north west office, revealed the news today.

The firm has taken 13,896 sq ft on a 15-year lease.

JLL’s north west office is the company’s largest commercial office outside of London, and its entire 170- strong workforce will be migrating to the award-winning Landmark building. Fit-out is expected to commence in Q4 2019.

On completion in Q3 2019, Landmark will offer 14 floors of BREEAM Excellent and Wired Score Platinum-certified office space, with the largest floorplates currently available in the prime core of Manchester’s City Centre.

Steve, who was formerly the director for JLL’s regional residential business, will head up the new office – as former head David Lathwood has been appointed chair. He joined the firm in 2003 and oversaw a team of 65 residential consultants working across six cities.

In Manchester, Steve has advised some of the UK’s biggest property developers and led the development, consultancy, sales and marketing of some of the North West’s largest mixed-use schemes, including the largest PRS development in the North, Greengate.
