JLL announces leadership update in Finland
Tero Lehtonen to succeed Christian Hohenthal as new CEO of JLL Finland
HELSINKI, December 18, 2019 – JLL has today announced that Tero Lehtonen has been appointed as CEO of JLL Finland to succeed Christian Hohenthal who will leave in January 2020 to join Sponda plc as CEO. Sponda is majority owned by real estate funds managed by Blackstone.
Having joined JLL in 2006, Mr. Lehtonen has made major contributions to build-up and position JLL’s valuation and advisory services offering which is now recognised as the market leader in Finland. He has served in a range of increasingly senior positions, including Head of Finnish Valuation & Advisory, before being appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the Finnish business in 2019.
As the newly appointed CEO of JLL Finland, Lehtonen will assume overall leadership responsibility for JLL’s strategic development and continued growth of the business.
