Historic lake district hotel sold to the Inn Collection Group
Acting jointly with Savills, JLL has completed the sale of The Pheasant Inn on the southern fringe of Bassenthwaite Lake to the North East company, The Inn Collection Group, close to the asking price of £2.5m
Set within seven acres of its own grounds, the former staging post and coaching inn offers 15 traditionally furnished en-suite bedrooms as well as a three-bedroom managers’ cottage. The property also comprises of two AA Rosette restaurants - The Fell Restaurant and The Bistro. The Fell (36 covers), offers fine dining in a formal environment, and the Bistro Restaurant (42 covers) which provides a more relaxed dining setting for guests. The Pheasant Inn also has a traditional bar, guest lounge and a private dining room.
Located in the north of the Lake District on the western side of Bassenthwaite Lake, The Pheasant Inn is situated equidistant between the market towns of Cockermouth and Keswick on the southern side of the A66 which links the Region with the M6 North South and the national motorway network.
