Canmoor delivers Hermes to Bristol
Canmoor welcomes Hermes Parcelnet and announces new scheme
Hermes Parcelnet has taken occupation of a 6,100 sq ft unit at Canmoor’s Pucklechurch Industrial Estate in Bristol. JLL signed up Hermes Parcelnet, who have signed a five-year lease for the last mile delivery hub, which will enable them to service the east Bristol and south Gloucestershire areas.
Henry de Teissier, associate in the JLL Bristol office said, ‘’This letting demonstrates the continuing demand for last mile logistics & courier services. Hermes required a unit in close proximity to arterial roads but also the extensive residential areas of east Bristol. Pucklechurch Industrial Estate provides exactly that, with easy access to the Avon Ring Road and surrounding areas. It was a great result to hand over keys upon completion of the refurbishment works.’’
Canmoor is also speculatively developing 57,000 sq ft of new industrial space called ‘Ascent’. The scheme will include brand new units up to 20,000 sq ft and will be available in Spring 2021.
Rhys Jones of Knight Frank in Bristol said, "Following the successful letting of Unit 8 to Hermes, we look forward to delivering new multi let units to the Bristol market. Units 1 to 6 will provide space ranging from 4,300 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft and Unit 7 will provide 20,000 sq ft."
