The Challenge

After several years, the Leven office space was no longer fit for purpose. Chivas Brothers decided to retain its existing facility and refurbish the space to accommodate both its operational and office teams, serving as a hub to unite employees and facilitate positive human connections across the site.

The JLL approach

JLL was appointed as lead consultant, acting as the principal point of contact for the client team and providing Project Management, Contract Administration, Principal Design and Cost Management Services. We partnered closely with the team at Chivas Brothers to capture their aims and aspirations for the site alongside understanding the practicalities of refurbishing an existing building on a live 24-hour operational site – all during the 2020-2021 pandemic.

Having one point of contact across the project ensured a cohesive and integrated approach, maximising project success and minimising disruption.

Chivas Brothers’ Leven office has been transformed into a fresh, inspirational, world-class facility that brings more colleagues together to enjoy connection, creativity, and conviviality. The new office marks a significant milestone in Chivas Brothers’ ongoing investment in the future of Scotch and it’s the single biggest transformation the site has ever seen.

The refurbished facility includes:
