Warehouse refurbishment Greenford
The Building Consultancy and Cost Management teams were called to advise on a Grade II listed Norman Foster design warehouse, formerly an IBM distribution centre which has been empty for 5 years.
Turning an empty Norman Foster warehouse into a ‘green’ letting opportunity, JLL secured a 10-year lease for Schroder UK Property Fund. We refurbished the Grade II listed former IBM distribution center, improving its sustainability credentials at the same time.
JLL coordinated various services including Building Consultancy, Cost Management, Industrial Agency, PAM, Research, Strategic Asset Management and Sustainability.
Through a strong focus on sustainability, the team worked with Schroder UK Property Fund to improve the EPC rating of the warehouse from G to C, due to increasing the amount of insulation and installing efficient lighting.
