After investigating ground conditions, ownership of mews, planning constraints and a study into the layout whilst achieving minimum size standards, we helped achieve our client’s ambitions by overcoming these issues, whilst creating the high end finish and return expected.
In such a confined and overlooked space, the challenge working with a listed building was to help bring to life a solution that would achieve planning permissions, be financially viable and also efficient to construct.
We provided innovation by bringing evidence that the creation of a basement would be possible, achieving a good rate of return, and ensuring budget and design allowed for best achievable energy efficiency for our client.
