Ambition

Bank Leumi (UK) plc required advice and expertise when investing £20m into a Grade II listed property – Dobson House, Newcastle with plans to house the students of tomorrow. We thought, that is an ambition we can get behind.

How we worked together

Our project management services team were instructed by Bank Leumni (UK) plc to review the construction process on the delivery of the 329-bed student accommodation project.

Part of the project included the existing Grade II listed John Dobson House, which was built and designed in 1823 as a family home. The project plans intended to keep the existing facia and re-purpose beyond for a new generation.

Recognising it was vital to protect the existing structure the plan needed to include the necessary due diligence to carry out the construction for the apartments beyond.

Throughout the construction process it was crucial that our client was regularly updated on the progress of the build, the team provided monthly updates on development progress and construction timelines to ensure the project was delivered on time and on budget.

Resolution

Together we merged the old with the new to create accommodation for the minds of our future. We ensured that any construction or budget issues were resolved quickly and efficiently, the client was kept informed throughout the process, which resulted in a successfully delivered project. Bank Leumi achieved their ambition to fund a successful development project.
