How local knowledge helped reposition a landmark Wolverhampton store
Why a new vision was needed for the former home of one of the UK’s oldest high street brands
Location
Wolverhampton, UK
Square Feet
300, 000 sq ft
Hudson Advisors needed specialist advice and market insight to create a new vision for Wolverhampton’s House of Fraser building. Our strategy, after being appointed receivers, was to manage, modify and prepare this 300, 000 sq ft building for the future.
How we worked together
Recognising it was vital for our client to regularise the management position with their respective tenants, we worked together with the full capabilities of the Birmingham office including retail, residential, hotel and planning to achieve this and to investigate future uses for the property.
We have advised on many landmark buildings previously, enabling us to capitalise on our existing knowledge in this field and our local market insights to advise Hudson Advisors appropriately.
Resolution
The result enabled us to combine multiple specialist sector teams across the Birmingham office to provide Hudson Advisors with in-depth, local and specialist advice needed to achieve their ambition.
