The ambition
The team were involved in the instruction from the beginning, dealing with claims on behalf of the freeholder and occupational lessee. This instruction involved early engagement with HS2 and petitioning Parliament, assisting with the relocation of the business, preparing the property and disturbance claims, and negotiating a successful outcome. The team negotiated agreement of over 90% of the original disturbance claim, which included a large proportion of contentious items.
