"Knowing that a company strives to support employees in their personal and professional development gives me peace of mind and a drive to take advantage of this support," Laura says.

Prior to joining JLL, Laura had worked for both large corporates and some smaller independent firms. Ultimately, she wanted to find a company that matched her values. Laura decided to accept a 12-month contract with JLL working as a Team Lead in their Build-To-Rent team.

"I was keen to move back into a larger organisation that would have the ability to provide training, support me in working towards further qualifications and provide a network of professionals with differing levels of experience and expertise to further motivate and inspire me."

Laura has been able to participate in a wide variety of training sessions and has attended several industry events to network and stay abreast of change and innovation in the industry. In addition, she was able to take further exams to add to her qualifications and she even attended a mindfulness seminar as part of JLL's wellness programme.

"My favourite part of the JLL culture is the 'can do' attitude and the drive for continual improvement. It's this attitude that fosters a positive working environment where our colleagues support and encourage each other to work to the best of our ability, enabling us to achieve our team goals."
