The Talks 2022 was a TEDx style event that our 2021 Early Careers Committee - Esha Bhasin, Johnny Miller, Isabella Lysaght and Henry Wigzell – designed, conceptualised and introduced to JLL. It provided a platform for our Early Careers Community to share innovative ideas with our senior leadership team on how JLL can deliver against its UK business strategy.

“My talk highlights the importance of strengthening client relationships at a junior level. I propose to start the JLL NextGen Academy which is an annual, all-day event led by JLL and the younger generation for the next generation of clients.”

Our Runner up:

Jared Harvey

Graduate Surveyor, London (Cognate Residential Pathway)
“Whilst we all accept that technology is set to disrupt the way our industry operates, history suggests that large firms such as JLL won’t be the ones who disrupt it. My talk focuses on how JLL can look to defy the odds, through developing technology in a way that leverages the benefits of acting like a PropTech start-up whilst simultaneously exploiting the trust and scale it has built up over 100 years. This rests on 3 pillars: education, communication and integration.”
