UK Head of Sustainability, JLL
Sophie is UK Head of Sustainability within JLL and collaborates globally to provide sustainability solutions for our clients.

Sophie is responsible for JLL’s sustainability leadership position in the UK marketplace and with our strategic clients, driving JLL’s own performance through our Building a Better Tomorrow programme and overseeing our public affairs programme.
Sophie joined JLL in 2007 and was previously a director in our sustainability consulting business. Sophie helped companies create market-leading sustainability visions, strategies and implementation programmes, and ensured results were achieved. Sophie has designed strategies for companies and for major master-plans in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, she has assisted multiple clients with their sustainability reporting, and she has spearheaded the adoption of transformational sustainability goals across the real estate sector.
Prior to joining JLL, Sophie had a career which spanned the private, public and third sector, Sophie worked in the House of Commons and in the public sector, as well as volunteering on a long-term basis for human rights and environmental charities.
Sophie was winner of the EG Young Property Professional of the Year award 2014 and winner of ULI global 40 under 40 2014. She has a MSc in Environmental Management for Business from Cranfield University and a MA in Languages & Literature from the University of Oxford.
Sophie has two young children, a star of a husband and finds her contentment in the green parks and woodland of south-east London.
