Head of UK Regions and Midlands
Ian has overall responsibility for the UK regions and is Lead Director for the Midlands, a role he has held since 2011.
“We want JLL to have a culture of openness, understanding and support – to be open to the best and brightest talent whatever their race, gender, sexuality or social background.”
With a background in office agency, more recently he has focused on development consultancy advising occupiers, developers, public sector and institutional clients across all commercial asset classes.
In the Midlands, Ian has advised on some of the region’s most significant schemes including Arden Cross – the site of HS2 station, the NEC Birmingham, Oxford City Council’s Oxpens site and British Sugar, on its 350-acre factory site at Allscott. Advice has included market demand studies, viability, masterplanning, promotional agreements and disposals. He is also responsible for co-ordinating JLL’s advice on Freshwater’s regional portfolio.
Ian is a joint UK Board's sponsors of our Race for Change employee network supporting the firm’s race action plan to help drive greater equality across the business.
Outside of work, his hobbies include skiing and golf. Ian is married to Diane and they have three daughters and he says sometimes the day job is easier!
