Occupier activity has been robust in most markets across the second half of 2010, which is beginning to raise concerns about where Grade A product will be sourced from towards the end of this year. As a result, it is anticipated that as pinch points of good quality supply start to emerge there will be a return to preletting activity in some markets. Investment volumes were relatively weak this quarter as buyers continued to be highly risk averse but the strengthening market fundamentals for prime space may drive increased investor activity outside of London this year.
