UK Corporate Occupier Conditions Q2 2013

Amid indications of improving occupier confidence, Q1 2013 saw a higher level of corporate occupier activity in Central London and the core regional cities year-on-year.
We are starting to see keener competition for the best space in markets with constrained supply levels. More new-build activity is scheduled in 2013 (particularly in Central London) and we are likely to see a continued upturn in pre-let activity.
Prime rents are broadly stable across the regions, whilst growing modestly in Central London. However the lack of Grade A supply nationally will continue to drive rents upwards for the very best space.
