The housing markets in Northern England have already benefittedfrom a Government induced boost. Transactions and house prices are upbut the effects are likely to be medium-term too. Developers are alreadyrepositioning themselves to reap greatest reward.
But exactly how much of an impact these Government initiatives canimpart in some parts of Northern England, given restrictive influences suchas affordability, unemployment and wage growth, remains to be seen.Key and vibrant city centres such as Manchester and Leeds, however,will undoubtedly be significant outperformers.
