JLL is proud to welcome home our 2016 Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Their focus and dedication is truly inspiring.


Geraint Thomas - Cycling
Geraint Thomas MBE is a double Olympic champion cyclist and was part of Great Britain's winning team pursuit quartet in both Beijing 2008 and London 2012. At Rio 2016, he achieved 11th in the Men's Road Race and 9th in the Time Trial. Geraint is a member of Team Sky and has competed in seven Tour de France events. His career highlights include winning the Paris Nice and Volta ao Algarve in 2016 and scooping Gold for Wales in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He also played a key role in Chris Froome's 2015 Tour De France victory.

Helen Jenkins

Helen Jenkins - Triathlon
Helen Jenkins is a double World Triathlon Champion and has represented Great Britain at three Olympic Games. Helen finished 5th in London and achieved 19th in Rio.


Lauren Steadman - Paratriathlon
Lauren’s appearance in the Great British Paralympic team in Rio 2016 marked her third Olympics representing the country and the first representing the para triathlon which premiered at the Rio games in which she scooped a silver. In 2008 and 2012 she also represented Great Britain as a swimmer. Lauren Steadman is current World and European champion in the T4 Paratriathlon category and has been unbeaten since May 2014.  


Will Bayley - Table Tennis
Will Bayley won Gold for Great Britain at the Rio 2016 Paralymipcs and is the current number one world table tennis Paralympic champion. He previously won  Bronze and a Silver in the 2012 Paralympic Games. Other career highlights include a Silver in the 2015 European Championships in Denmark for both single and team and a Gold in the singles event at the 2014 World Championships in China.

These athletes have collectively inspired staff, friends and family with their displays of courage in adversity and unwavering focus on success.
