Jones Lang LaSalle Become First Commercial Partner to British BIDs

London, 4th April 2011 – Jones Lang LaSalle are to become the first commercial partner to British BIDs.

Nigel Wheeler, Chairman Property and Asset Management, at Jones Lang LaSalle said: “BIDs are a vitally important mechanism for managing commercial areas across the UK. The primary relationship between our two organisations will focus on collaborative working and thought leadership in the new and emerging world of BIDs in the UK, with a view to overseas expansion in the longer term. Jones Lang LaSalle is closely allied to the objectives of BIDs and we believe this partnership will add real value to the professionalism of the industry, ensuring transparency and best practice procedures.”

Going forward Nigel Wheeler will be a representative on the British BIDs Advisory Board, which concentrates on advising the strategic direction of the BID industry nationwide. Jones Lang LaSalle will also be involved in the Nationwide BID Survey, particularly contributing to the property owners and retailers dimension.
