Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Solutions England Team Appoints New Head of Workplace

London, 24th May 2011 – Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed John Dodd as a director to lead the workplace offer within its Corporate Solutions England team. John is an experienced Corporate Real Estate (CRE) executive having previously held senior Workplace and Corporate Real Estate roles at Citigroup and Merrill Lynch.
Commenting on John’s appointment, Bill Monk, Head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Solutions England team in the UK, said: “We continue to expand our 100-strong Corporate Solutions team in London; in the past year we have recruited over 30 new Directors and staff to deal with a succession of contract wins and John will add valuable experience to the broad range of services we provide to our corporate clients.”
John has experience of leading and developing CRE functional teams across the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.  John was a Head of Corporate Real Estate for Citigroup, managing their portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.  He was also leader of the Alternative Workplace Strategy programme for Citigroup across Asia Pacific the key objective being the provision of flexible workspace within a reduced spatial footprint. Prior to transferring to Sydney, John was head of Citigroup's Space & Occupancy team in London with responsibility for innovative workplace design and occupancy planning of Citigroup's properties across EMEA.
Previously John was Head of Planning & Design for Merrill Lynch in London and a project manager with other private and public sector organisations in the UK, Oman and Algeria. John has a building services engineering background and is an active member of BIFM.
