Tetris Projects Ltd Celebrates First Anniversary in the UK

A full turn-key service for fit-out and refurbishment projects

Tetris Projects Ltd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Jones Lang LaSalle, is now approaching its first anniversary in the UK.  Tetris Projects offers a one-stop-shop for fit-out and refurbishment projects, providing extensive experience in all property sectors (including commercial, retail, hotel and leisure, industrial and residential).

Richard Harris, Managing Director of Tetris Projects UK, has over 20 years experience in the property development and fit-out/refurbishment sector. Commenting on the business, Richard said; “Tetris Projects expanded into the UK last year to satisfy a growing demand amongst Jones Lang LaSalle’s clients for a simple and professional service offering in workspace optimisation and occupation.”

Richard Harris continued; “In the past year, Tetris Projects has delivered a number of projects of up to 35,000 sq ft.  The key is that we offer our clients a single point of contact throughout the project as we deliver successful completion in terms of quality, efficiency and value.  We are proud of our track record to date, with all of our projects being completed on time, to budget and to the highest of standards.  In addition, for our commercial office projects, Tetris has adopted the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Ska Rating methodology to ensure sustainability best practice is integrated in our solutions.  Our in house certified Ska Assessor can assess our completed ssit-out projects and award them an industry-respected bronze, silver or gold certification.”

Tetris Projects completed its most recent project, a Category B office fit-out for the technology company Gemalto in six weeks.  Richard Harris added; “Based on a detailed analysis of space requirements, we produced three speculative layouts which enabled Gemalto to select the London location that best suited their needs and budget.  Tetris Projects’ in-house designers used concept drawings and visualisations to give the client a feel for their new space and our dedicated Project Manager oversaw the whole fit-out process, ensuring a seamless move from their existing office.  We are also pleased that the project was awarded a Bronze Ska Rating reflecting the sustainable decisions that were made throughout the fit-out process.”

Danny Beecroft, UK Facilities and Energy Manager from Gemalto, said; “Thanks to Tetris Projects UK and the sterling work that the team carried out, we have a London office to be proud of.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Tetris in the future.”

Tetris already has an established reputation in the European marketplace, having initially launched in 2003 in France.  Tetris is also established in Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain and this year will commence operations in Russia and The Netherlands leading to revenue growth of more than 30 per cent in 2011.  Globally, Jones Lang LaSalle delivers similar services in USA, India, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
