Duo of industrial leasing deals ensure Castlehill is king

Manchester, 7th November 2011 – BP Investment Management’s Castlehill Industrial Park on Horsfield Way, Bredbury in Stockport is proving to be a real hot spot for manufacturing occupiers according to leasing agents Jones Lang LaSalle following the completion of two significant deals.

Manufacturers of high performance sealing technology, James Walker Townson, has committed to a ten year lease with a five year break on Unit 1B which comprises 22,578 sq ft of refurbished space.

This follows on from the letting of 26,896 sq ft of space in Unit 2 to Pilkington Group who agreed a ten year lease on the space which will be used for the storage and distribution of wall and flooring materials.

Mark Sillitoe Associate Director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s National Industrial & Logistics team, commented: “These sizeable deals re-affirm that South Manchester is still a prime North West industrial location and specifically, Bredbury, with its immediate access to the M60 which continues to be a major pull for local occupiers.”

Only two units now remain at Castlehill; both have been comprehensively refurbished and comprise 26,000 sq ft and 12,000 sq ft.

Jones Lang LaSalle and Impey & Co acted for the landlord in both deals.
