Disposal of Centenary House

Nottingham, 13th December 2011 - “Nottinghamshire County Council is to dispose of Centenary House, the 15,260 sq ft former Council offices in West Bridgford.  The offices are prominently located on the junction with Wilford Lane, Melton Road and Loughborough Road and are offered for sale with offers invited in excess of £1million.

The building is situated on a 0.87 acre site, providing 57 car parking spaces, all of which are outside the city’s ‘Workplace Parking Levy’ boundary.  Internally the building offers a modern specification with lift access, raised floors and suspended ceilings.

The Council have appointed Jones Lang LaSalle, who are also working on a number of other key projects with the council.

Jones Lang LaSalle has completed over 500,000 ft² of office transactions within the city over the past 24 months, completing landmark deals such as City Council HQ Loxley House, the e.on pre-let, letting Mowbray House to Browne Jacobson and now marketing the investment.

Matt Robertson said: “We anticipate that due to the constrained supply of Grade A space within Nottingham there is a likelihood that next year will continue to create opportunities for occupiers. Most of recent demand has been reactive to the availability of the best quality, highly specified, second hand space coming to the market - a trend we see continuing.”
