Call Centre letting provides major boost for South Shields

Newcastle, 13th January 2012 - Jones Lang LaSalle has let a significant proportion of the former Garland Call Centre in South Shields to a utility cost management consultancy.
The letting of the 40,400sqft building at 30-31 Long Row, Market Dock, completed in December and the new tenants took occupation earlier this month.
The letting to Utilitywise will help bring significant employment into South Shields following their relocation from smaller offices in Jarrow.
The purpose built five-storey call centre offers the new occupier high-specification riverside offices with air conditioning, raised floors, training suites, canteen, storage facilities and back-up generator.
The letting was brokered by Simon Taylor, Associate Director of Jones Lang LaSalle who commented: "This is great news for South Shields. The call centre is a first class facility and I am sure Utitlitywise will continue to grow and prosper given the quality of the accommodation.  This is a unique call centre location due to its close proximity to the town centre, public transport facilities and fantastic waterside setting."
Jones Lang LaSalle and joint agents Sanderson Weatherall are now marketing 32 Long Row which is the last remaining part of the development.

32 Long Row totals 15,085sqft and is available via joint agents Jones Lang LaSalle and Sanderson Weatherall on a sale or lease basis.
