Full House at Abbeyhill Industrial Estate as EKCO takes final unit

Edinburgh, 12 September 2013 - EKCO, the family run kitchen and bathroom specialist, has moved to new premises at Abbeyhill Industrial Estate in Edinburgh, occupying the estate’s last available unit.

4a Abbeyhill Industrial EstateHaving previously occupied retail premises in Stockbridge, the firm has signed a ten year lease with landlord Joint Properties to occupy the 2,215 sq ft industrial unit at 4a Abbeyhill Industrial Estate on Abbey Lane. The rent was agreed at a rate of £7 per sq ft, equating to a total of £15,505 per annum.

Established in 1999 and operating from its primary showroom in Livingston, EKCO combines carefully selected high quality products with a personalised design and installation service. The newly-refurbished mid-terrace premises at Abbeyhill will serve as a customer showroom.

A prominent and accessible estate close to the A1, Abbeyhill Industrial Estate is around one mile from the city centre, with Meadowbank Shopping Centre in the immediate vicinity. It features a large shared tarmac forecourt and parking area. Adjacent occupiers on the estate include Quik Lube, Bonk & Co, Partco Autoparts, Newey & Eyre and Chatham Honda.
