Jones Lang LaSalle announces sponsorship of Olympian William Bayley

World No 1 Table Tennis champion

Jones Lang LaSalle announces its sponsorship of table tennis champion William Bayley in this year’s 2012 Paralympic Games.

Will, joined by Alan Campbell, Great Britain’s leading single sculler visited the Jones Lang LaSalle Hanover Square office on Monday 6th February to meet and play some members of the Jones Lang LaSalle staff.

Andrew Gould, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle UK, said; “Will Bayley is Great Britain's number one athlete in Class 7 disabled table tennis and last month became world number one – a feat that only one other British disabled table tennis player has achieved in recent years.  Will discovered his talent for the sport at age 12 and was playing for Great Britain by the time he was 17 years old. He has already represented Team GB in the Beijing Paralympics (2008) and we are hoping for great things from him at this summer’s Paralympics.”

Richard Batten, Executive Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle UK, added; “We are very proud to be sponsoring Will and thrilled that he visited our Hanover Square office on Monday, 6 February to meet our staff and also to play a few games. As current world champion in his class, Will is a great example of creating triumph out of adversity. We can all learn something from him both as a sportsman and as a person.”

Will joins Jones Lang LaSalle’s other sponsored Olympians, world champion triathlete Helen Jenkins, Great Britain’s leading single sculler - Alan Campbell; and the Borlée family, athletes Olivia, Jonathan and Kevin, who are being sponsored by Jones Lang LaSalle’s Belgium office.
