Harrogate retailer expands in Jones Lang LaSalle letting deal


Leeds, 22 February 2012 -  Clothing retailer, Dishang Cherry Ltd, has doubled the size of its office space at The Exchange, Station Parade, Harrogate, in a deal brokered by international property consultants, Jones Lang LaSalle.
 
Dishang Cherry Ltd, China’s third largest manufacturer and exporter of clothing and apparel, has leased an additional 1,000 sq ft  on the second floor of  The Exchange, in the deal brokered by the National Office Agency team at Jones Lang LaSalle, Leeds, acting for landlord, commercial property investment company, London-based Commercial Estates Group, which also has a base at The Exchange.
 
The new letting means that Dishang Cherry, which has had a UK base at The Exchange since 2008,now occupies 2,000 sq ft. The company sells a wide range of men’s women’s and children’s formal and casual wear as well as fabrics and also supplies some of the world’s leading clothing brands.
 
Jones Lang LaSalle Leeds-based National Office Agency team, senior surveyor, Tom Brammeld, said: “It is pleasing to see a retail business growing in these difficult market conditions. We’re also delighted that The Exchange was able to offer room for expansion before we are fully let.”
 
The Harrogate office of property agents, Strutt & Parker, acted alongside Jones Lang LaSalle in the letting deal.
