Jones Lang LaSalle Takes Winners Rostrum

Birmingham, 6 March, 2011 – Jones Lang LaSalle has come top of a trade publication’s league table, taking the top spot as the country’s number one performer in deal numbers.

EGI’s annual Deals Competition results, where volumes across all sectors are totalled, show Jones Lang LaSalle was also top overall in investments, office lettings and second in industrial lettings.

Ian Cornock, head of the Birmingham office of Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “Whilst it is clear the combined might of Jones Lang LaSalle and King Sturge has taken the company up the rankings and into the lead in a number of sectors, it is a position we now have to maintain.

“In the West Midlands, we are competing against some established nationals and strong independents. It is important we do not become complacent and we will be working hard with our existing client list and opening up new opportunities presented by our increased skill base to continue to perform in what is still a challenging trading environment."

Looking at a local level, where the top agents are calculated by combining all deal types across all sectors, Jones Lang LaSalle took the top spot in investments and came second in offices.
