Nottingham, 24th April 2012 - Jones Lang LaSalle has taken the top spot in the 2011-12 Nottingham Office League Table according to newly released figures produced by EGi.
According to the league table, published in Estates Gazette’s East Midlands feature (issued 21st April 2012), Jones Lang LaSalle disposed of 145,039 sq ft of office space in the city to nudge into first place ahead of its competitors.
Matthew Smith, director in Jones Lang LaSalle's Nottingham office, commented: "The agency team is working extremely hard, against a background of difficult market conditions and strong competition, and we are immensely proud of our first place rankings in EGi’s latest league table.
“Last year Jones Lang LaSalle advised on two of the largest lettings of the year in Nottingham - 60,000 sq ft at Mowbray House to Browne Jacobson and 45,000 sq ft at Belgrave House and we are keen to keep growing our market share across the region this year.
He concluded: "Not included within Egi’s league table were several deals involving change of use from offices, which has help reduced availability in Nottingham. These included the 30,000 sq ft Bowman House and the 46,000 sq ft Lawrence House which Jones Lang LaSalle disposed and acquired respectively) which are both to be converted to student accommodation.”
