Recognising the Most Influential Women in UK Real Estate

Property Week has announced the results of its 100 most influential women in real estate voted for by readers of the publication, including the following from Jones Lang LaSalle:

Fiona Hamilton (number 48) – Head of Retail, Scotland
Shelley Frost (number 50) – Director, Corporate Solutions Caroline Parker (number 82) – Scotland Head of Valuation Julia Martin (number 85) – Director, Corporate Finance

Additionally, Lillian Chandler (Office Agency); Julie Hirigoyen (Upstream Sustainability Services); Katie Kopec (Development Consulting) and Catherine Lambert (Shopping Centre Management) were all senior nominees.

Andrew Gould, Jones Lang LaSalle UK Chief Executive, said: “In 2010, Jones Lang LaSalle launched Changing the Face of Property, an industry-wide initiative to address inequality within real estate.  Facilitating the creation of a more diverse industry takes time and there is still a long way to go;
however it is reassuring to see acknowledgment through a league table such as this, which illustrates a substantially different picture to that of twenty years ago.”

Richard Batten, Jones Lang LaSalle UK Executive Chairman, said:  “We are absolutely delighted that four of our senior female directors were recognised in the league table for their contribution to the industry. At Jones Lang LaSalle, we have a wealth of incredible female talent operating right across the business and look forward to further recognition in the future.”
