Three period buildings in Southernhay sold to private investor


Exeter, 18th June 2012 – On behalf of Valad Jones Lang LaSalle has concluded the sale of 38 / 40 Southernhay East to a private investor.  The buildings, which comprise 6,749 sq ft as well as four car parking spaces, have been sold on a 999 year lease for a premium of £465,000.
 

Originally three Georgian houses, the buildings were converted for office use and he basement let as a wine bar trading as Rendezvous which is preeminent as one of the best privately run city centre restaurants. The purchaser intends to refurbish and let the upper floors for office and other uses.
