Jones Lang LaSalle launches “French iDesk” to help French corporations with their global real estate strategies

New service to accelerate real estate expansion into emerging markets including China, India and Brazil

Jones Lang LaSalle have created a new international desk within its Corporate Solutions department, to help French corporates expanding across the globe.

The new solution, called “French iDesk”, will bring together the best of Jones Lang LaSalle’s global platform of information, resources and tools across 70 countries into an accessible and local service in France. This will provide a single point of entry for French corporates as they expand globally.

Due to sustained caution across the Eurozone, many large French and European corporates are accelerating their plans to expand their real estate portfolios into global markets, such as Africa, Brazil, China and India.

Commenting on the trend of French Corporates looking to expand globally, Vincent Lottefier, Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Solutions – Europe, Middle East & Africa at Jones Lang LaSalle said: “Conditions in France and Europe over the last 18 months have been challenging. Many are now accelerating their global expansion journey. However, moving outside of traditional areas of Western Europe is a greater challenge and carries more financial and operational risk. Our new service will help corporates minimise the risk from establishing a new presence on the ground and allow them to focus efforts on running their business efficiently.”
