Jones Lang LaSalle appoints Jon Neale as new Head of UK Research

Key role for the firm’s UK business

Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Jon Neale as the firm’s new head of UK Research.  Jon was previously a director in the firm’s Residential Research team, and has made key contributions to some of its recent successes.

Commenting on Jon’s appointment, Andrew Gould, Jones Lang LaSalle UK Chief Executive, said: “Research plays a vital role at Jones Lang LaSalle and is ingrained in our culture.  Thought leadership and innovation, concepts originally championed by Honor Chapman, have underpinned an entire range of Jones Lang LaSalle market-based solutions and insights.  Jon’s background as a highly creative, analytical researcher and policy adviser to both government and core clients, means that he is equipped with a tremendous skillset and the ability to reinforce our long-standing research legacy.”
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Jon was Head of Market Intelligence at the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), where he worked closely with senior management, including then Chief Executive Sir Bob Kerslake, on a number of key programmes and policies.
Before joining the HCA, he was partner and head of development research at Knight Frank. He has also worked as a journalist within both the commercial and residential property press.
Jon Neale, added: “I am very excited about taking on this important role within Jones Lang LaSalle. Research is increasingly important across all property sectors. The challenge is to create a truly distinctive, forward thinking and industry-leading service that can genuinely inform client strategies – while continuing to deliver unrivalled market intelligence.”
