The world’s largest rowing event
Jones Lang LaSalle is sponsoring a boat comprising eight of the world’s top male rowers the 48th Head of The Charles Regatta, which will take place on a three mile course on the Charles River in Boston and Cambridge, USA on 20th and 21st October 2012 in front of 300,000 spectators.
Andrew Hynard, UK deputy chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “Following the Olympics success of our rower Alan Campbell, who won bronze in the single sculls at London 2012, we are extremely proud to be the sponsor of a unique boat competing in the world’s largest rowing event. The team will be taking on the likes of Harvard and Washington Universities as well as a USA Team crew.”
Andrew added: “Alan’s coach, the legendary Bill Barry, has repeated his 2009 feat of bringing together eight of the world’s most successful oarsmen to join Alan in creating a truly international line-up, with New Zealand Olympic singles champion Mahe Drysdale the star.”
