Business in the Community announces Jones Lang LaSalle’s Andy Carter as a winner of its Game Changer Awards

Head of EMEA Corporate Communications

London, 14th December 2013 – Business in the Community (BITC) has announced Andy Carter, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Head of EMEA Corporate Communications as a recipient of one of its 30th anniversary Game Changer Awards.

The Game Changer Awards recognise the crucial role that individuals play in shifting responsible business from niche to mainstream by integrating responsible business behaviour within their organisations. The Award is a one-off accolade timed to coincide with Business in the Community’s 30th anniversary and was supported by Wates Group, BITC’s Company of the Year 2011.

Andrew Gould, UK Chief Executive at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “Andy is a very worthy winner of the Game Changer Award. He has been the driving force for responsible business at Jones Lang LaSalle and has demonstrated incredible commitment to creating a culture change within the business. Leading on the company's community investment initiatives and supporting BITC's Business Action on Homelessness, Andy has worked tirelessly to create momentum around responsible business at Jones Lang LaSalle. He has also ensured that sustainability reporting at Jones Lang LaSalle has been both thorough and transparent.”

Stephen Howard, Chief Executive, Business in the Community, added: “We are delighted to be able to recognise some of the brightest stars in corporate responsibility through our Game Changers award. Without the energy and passion of Game Changers, I doubt very much if the UK responsible business movement would be quite so mature. They truly deserve this recognition which I hope will act as an inspiration to others.”
