Jones Lang LaSalle is most active office leasing agent in Manchester according to 2012 data

Manchester, 21 January 2013 - Jones Lang LaSalle has been ranked the most active office agency team in Manchester according to letting and sales performance data produced annually by the Manchester Office Agents’ Forum (MOAF). According to its 2012 league tables, Jones Lang LaSalle achieved the top spot for the total number of space let\disposed in both the city centre and out-of-town markets transacting 249,596 sq ft and 277,075 sq ft respectively. 

Chris Mulcahy, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Manchester office agency team, said: “Our Manchester team is proud to have achieved the top spot in MOAF’s 2012 league table for the amount of offices let and acquired. In a market dominated by lease re-gear activity our number one position demonstrates our added value to our clients and ability to do deals.”
MOAF’s league table shows that from 1 January 2012 – 31st December 2012 Jones Lang LaSalle transacted 32% of all the office space in Manchester city centre and had a 20% market share of the out-of-town market. Key deals the team was involved with included the largest letting in Manchester; Think Money’s relocation to new purpose built offices comprising 125,000 sq ft and HSB Engineering Insurance taking 20,000 sq ft at Chancery Place.
