JLL has appointed Claire England as director for Diversity & Inclusion. Claire joins from international law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP, where she headed the Diversity & Inclusion team.

At JLL, Claire will work with the HR and Sustainability teams to oversee the firm's UK Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy. She will be responsible for the delivery of the firm's public D&I targets under its Building a Better Tomorrow programme, whilst acting as an ambassador for the D&I activities both internally and externally to help further promote an inclusive culture.  She will also work closely with JLL's flourishing employee diversity networks.

Claire is a specialist in diversity and inclusion programmes with more than 15 years experience in the legal, financial services and retail sectors.

Virginia Rothwell, UK HR director commented: "Diversity and inclusion are core elements of our business strategy and are values that we champion both internally and within the wider property industry. Claire is a leading light in this area with an impressive track record of initiating successful change strategies. We are excited about the experience and insights she can bring to our existing programmes to help promote inclusivity within our culture."

Claire England added: "In order to achieve an inclusive culture, it is essential to work with the wider business to promote change. JLL recognises this, placing diversity and inclusion at the core of the business, helping to improve employee engagement, performance and ultimately organisational success. I am thrilled to be joining the team and look forward to helping them drive the D&I strategy forward."
