JLL has appointed Lauren Hetherington as a senior surveyor to its Alternatives team.  Lauren originally joined JLL in early 2015 as an assistant valuer within the firm's Social Infrastructure practice in Sydney. Lauren supported JLL's Valuation team working across a variety of asset classes.  During this time, Lauren concentrated on valuation and advisory assignments for retirement villages, aged care facilities, medical centres and major private hospitals within the Australian market. Lauren graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2016 with a Bachelor of Property Economics and qualified as a Certified Practicing Valuer in early 2017.

Commenting on Lauren's new role, Anthony Oldfield, director JLL's Alternatives team, said: "We warmly welcome Lauren to the team.  Her appointment will help position us to meet the growth we anticipate in the Retirement Living sector.  She has significant experience in a more mature market than the UK and her skills will be invaluable in advising our clients who are looking to grow their businesses in this evolving market."

Lauren Hetherington added: "I am very excited about my new role with JLL's Alternatives group and look forward to using my skills to support the team and enable it to develop further."
