Jones Lang LaSalle announces Samaritans as new charity partner

London, 28th January 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that its new charity partner for 2013/2014 is Samaritans, a UK and Ireland charity that offers round-the-clock  support to people struggling to cope.

Guy Grainger, UK Chief Executive at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “Jones Lang LaSalle is delighted to be working with Samaritans over the next two years.  We are extremely eager to raise vital funds for such a worthwhile charity and already have a number of fundraising events in the pipeline.”
The official launch of the partnership will take place across all Jones Lang LaSalle UK offices on Friday 1 February 2013, linking into an already established Samaritans fundraising event called Feel Good Friday.  Jones Lang LaSalle’s Charity Champions at each UK Office have already organised lunchtime events where representatives and volunteers from Samaritans will be on hand to answer questions about the charity.
Samaritans Chief Executive, Catherine Johnstone, said: “We’re thrilled that Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that they will be supporting Samaritans in a two year partnership, starting on Friday 1 February. The company has planned an exciting calendar of events to help raise vital funds to allow us to continue our life saving service for people struggling to cope.”
