BIRMINGHAM, 29 September 2017 - JLL has advised AshbyCapital, on the letting of the whole of the eighth floor at The Colmore Building, its multi-let office building in Birmingham's Colmore Business District, to international law firm Hogan Lovells. An existing tenant in the building, the firm is expanding its office space, moving to the 23,388 sq ft floor from the 7,620 sq ft space it currently occupies on the tenth storey.
3PB Barristers, the UK's oldest and fourth largest chambers, has also taken 4,901 sq ft of space on the ground floor at the building, while a further existing tenant has extended the lease on its office space for an additional six years.
The Colmore Building comprises 310,000 sq ft of Grade A office space over 14 storeys. Existing tenants include Vodafone, Allianz, Investec and Grant Thornton. The building offers Birmingham's broadest range of amenities, created through a recent £3.5 million enhancement programme which saw the addition of a gym, treatment rooms, bicycle parking, luxury changing rooms and a drying room, as well as a refurbished reception area and a new 1,000 sq ft café branded &More Coffee House. The building has an 'excellent' BREEAM environmental and sustainability rating and a 'platinum' WiredScore connectivity ranking.
