JLL team prepares for Run Norwich

A 14-stong team of athletes from JLL's Norwich office is raising funds for Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, by taking part in this year's Run Norwich.

The event, which takes place on Sunday 6th August has attracted 6,000 competitors and has now sold out.

It's the first time that JLL, the global property consultants, has entered a team into the 10K road race race. A team of 16 from its Norwich office are also taking part as volunteers on the day to assist the event organisers.

Charlotte Nevin, team coordinator at JLL, who is organising the company's fundraising efforts and taking part as a volunteer, said the running team couldn't wait to join the start line.

"As a responsible business employing over 300 people in Norwich, we have an important role to play in such an important issue as homelessness so were keen to run for Crisis.

"Not only does Run Norwich raise lots of money for a host of worthwhile causes, it's also going to be great fun. We hope even more people from our Norwich office will be able to take part next year!"

Crisis is a national organisation for homeless people. It is dedicated to ending homelessness through delivering life-changing services and lobbying government. Last year, it supported over 10,000 homeless people on their journey out of homelessness, through one-to-one coaching, employability training, classes and courses, mental health support and more. With rough sleeping on the rise, Crisis is working harder than ever before to help alleviate it.
